Detroit Lions’ Dan Campbell Tops the Kind of Poll That Totally Fits Him
There’s no denying that Dan Campbell is a really likeable guy. He gained a lot of attention and love during his stint on HBO’s “Hard Knocks” in 2022, along with the rest of the Detroit Lions
Now, there’s a new poll out. It’s totally the kind of poll that you would expect to see him top. And, he is topping it, at No. 2 on the list. Keep reading for the scoop.
A new study from Betway has determined which NFL coaches are considered the best and most loved by fans. The study “outlined who the frontrunners are and how different sets of fans rate their own coach based on social media data,” according to a release. They add that, “The top coaches in the modern NFL are a combination of two things: Shrewd schemers and master motivators. The best of the best turn that a 1-2 punch to meet the bottom-line requirement for the job: Winning a lot of games.”
So, who’s No. 1? It’s actually not Dan Campbell, but he’s close. Coming in at No. 1 is Doug Pederson of the Jacksonville Jaguars. He was ranked as the NFL’s most “well-perceived coach by fans.” Penderson is followed by Campbell, with 24% of the tweets in the past year being positive. Go Dan! I’m not surprised.
