Give me more of the blue Kool-Aid! The Detroit Lions are hot, and everyone is taking notice. One NFL expert is singing the Detroit Lions’ praises and even saying that he can’t remember a team with a better roster and more promise.
That guy is Gregg Rosenthal, the “Around The NFL Podcast” co-host. He recently posted the NFC North projected starters for 2023 NFL season via NFL.com and said that the “Lions look like division’s best.”
Also in his story, he said of the Detroit Lions, “I can’t remember a Detroit team with a better roster or higher expectations. The Lions should be favorites in the NFC North because they have the best line play and did well to address their biggest weaknesses.”
One negative he pointed out, though, is Jameson Williams being suspended for the first six games of the season after violating the league’s gambling policy. “That removes the Lions’ best deep threat and makes wideout a position of relative weakness compared to the rest of the offense,” he says.
