Deep Dive Into the Detroit Lions’ Remaining Schedule (PODCAST)
What a game. The Detroit Lions traveled to New Orleans to take on the Saints on Sunday (Dec. 3), and what started out as a blowout ended up being a nail-biter of a game. After an up-and-down game that had me jumping up and down and screaming at the TV in a very embarrassing manner, the Detroit Lions pulled off a win. The Lions are now 9-3. Let’s do a deep dive into the Detroit Lions’ remaining schedule.
After the first quarter, this game was 21-0, with the Lions snagging three quick touchdowns. But, it wasn’t over. The Saints were on their home turf, and the team fought hard, coming back in the second half of the game. In the end, the Lions were winners, wrapping the game up with a 33-28 win. While the Lions stayed strong, the Saints outscored them 21-9 in the second half, so that’s disturbing. But, a win is a win. I’m so happy to be a longtime Lions fan and be around to see this era of the team.
Deep Dive Into the Detroit Lions’ Remaining Schedule
So, what’s the rest of the season look like for the Detroit Lions? Should we be worried about the Green Bay Packers spoiling us in a wild card matchup? I watched that Green Bay game and was rooting so hard for the Kansas City Chiefs to win, but boy, the Chiefs looked horrible. No disrespect, but their defense just couldn’t deliver at all. But, back to the Lions. Sam LaPorta played an incredible game on Sunday, as did Jahmyr Gibbs and Amon-Ra St. Brown. Looking at the rest of the season, the Cowboys game looks difficult, but what about the rest? Brad Berreman of SideLion Report joins me on “The Squad with Anne Erickson” this week for a deep drive into the team’s upcoming schedule. Subscribe wherever you get your podcasts and listen below.
