Dave Grohl to Sit Down with AC/DC’s Brian Johnson for New Sky Arts Documentary
Dave Grohl will have an in-depth chat with AC/DC singer Brian Johnson and talk about their influential careers in a new documentary.
“Brian Johnson Meets Dave Grohl” will air on Sky Arts on Sept. 17. The episode will have Johnson sitting down with Grohl at the group’s famed Studio 606 in California.
“It’s a meeting of rock legends as AC/DC frontman Brian Johnson meets Foo Fighters lead singer and former Nirvana drummer Dave Grohl at the Foos’ LA studio to share stories about life on the road,” an official synopsis for the program states.
If you don’t currently have it, Sky Arts will reportedly become free-to-air later this month, letting viewers watch it without having to pay a fee.
Foo Fighters were slated to be on the road for the band’s 25th anniversary tour this fall but were forced to cancel the trek due to coronavirus. The tour was arranged to have the Foos visit tour stops from their first U.S. trek, which took place in 1995.
In AC/DC news, rumors are still out there that Johnson has been recording new music with AC/DC for an upcoming record, but the band has yet to confirm that.
