The White Stripes to Release 20th Anniversary ‘White Blood Cells’ Companion Album
The White Stripes will celebrate the 20th anniversary of their 2001 album, White Blood Cells, this year, and in honor, Jack White’s Third Man Records is putting together a companion package.
The release, called White Blood Cells XX, will offer a two-LP set with 13 previously unreleased demos and alternate takes from recording sessions for the White Blood Cells album.
In addition, White Blood Cells XX will feature a live recording of the band’s September 2001 concert in Louisville, Kentucky; a DVD with behind-the-scenes footage recording the original album; and a booklet with rare posters and photos.
