Holy Cow! Michigan Man Rides Cow Across Woodward
Have you seen the video of this Michigan man riding his pet cow across Woodward? There have been several appearances of Will the Cowboy and his pet heifer Hope. The couple shocked some motorists and a WTF video was posted on TikTok (warning most of the copies are filled with F’bombs).

That’s Will, a cowboy working at Penigree Farms located near I-75. Will and his cow were also spotted earlier in the month according to Fox2detroit.com. Will was seen going through a gas station on 7-mile with Hope. He is currently training Hope which I assume is for rides at the petting zoo at Penigree Farms.
According to their site, pingreefarms.org, Penigree Farms was started in 2010 by Jim and Shelly Green, owners of Milton Manufacturing. Jim and Shelly saw an opportunity to change the blight of the area into growth and health. They tore down abandoned buildings and replaced them with crops like corn, squash, cucumbers, and eggplants.
Every spring the farm gets over 60 plus volunteers to help plant crops that go to support the surrounding neighborhood with fresh food. There are also Honey Bees and a Certified petting zoo. Hope, the cow, is one of the residents.
In 2015 they were granted 501(c)(3) status and officially opened their doors to the public. Now they work with Educational Achievement Authority to create programs for Detroit Middle Schoolers and 4H to learn about animal husbandry. Kids learn about a plethora of animals and how to care for them. Animals like rabbits, chickens, goats, sheep, chickens, turkeys, mini cows, pigs, and ponies.
Some of their kids from their education programs have won ribbons and trophies at Local County Fairs.
They have a great Facebook page showing off many of their animals and volunteers also.
If you’d like to volunteer they have an easy-to-fill-out form right here.
