LEGO Ford F-150

According to motor1.com, Legoland Florida Resort just revealed a Life Size Ford F-150 built out of LEGOs! Based on the Ford F-150 Lightning Lariat (four-door variant). Lego said that it took 15 Master Builders and they started the project back in July. Imagine the box the LEGO Ford F-150 must come in!

The specs of this Lego replica include 320,740 bricks and took over 1600 hours to complete. It measures 19 feet long and 7 feet wide. The truck, in Lego, weighs 3,730 pounds. The Ford F-150  weighs in at 6500lbs so the Lego version is a little over half that weight. Hmm, something Ford engineers might want to look into that. (All of us driving Lego cars!)

The vehicle currently resides in front of the Ford Driving School. Where kids from 6-12 can drive around as policemen, firewomen, taxi drivers, or whatever driver they wish.

More Lego Vehicles!

In addition to the life-size Ford F-150 built out of Legos, several other vehicles have been made into life-size versions.

Lego built a 1:1 scale Ford Explorer that also resides in Legoland Florida. Built from 380,000 bricks.

Hot Scott, aka Scotty, when not wrangling his chihuahua he's writing, painting, and playing games. Loves Dungeon and Dragons, comics, and everything nerdy and geeky. He has an uncontrollable beard and has been known to wear a kilt on the right occasion. Might be a robot, we are checking on that. Send oil.
