Alice Cooper Announces New Tour Too Close for Comfort

”We were wiped out. We didn't have to go to the hospital or anything like that. But I lost 15 pounds. I couldn't sleep. I couldn't eat. Now, I'm feeling pretty good. I'm feeling like I'm at least 95%.”

Alice Cooper just announced his “Too Close for Comfort Tour” today, Friday the 13th. The tour will be for the April/May 2023 season (so far). There are no current Michigan stops but hopefully, our Detroit native son will add some shows for us.

Here are some of the current stops:

Apr. 29 – Youngstown, OH @ Covelli Centre
May 02 – Fort Wayne, IN @ Allen County War Memorial Coliseum
May 03 – Milwaukee, WI @ Miller High Life Theatre
May 06 – Bemidji, MN @ Sanford Center
May 09 – Champaign, IL @ State Farm Center
May 10 – Louisville, KY @ The Louisville Palace
May 13 – Knoxville, TN @ Tennessee Theatre
May 14 – Spartanburg, SC @ Spartanburg Memorial Auditorium
May 15 – North Charleston, SC @ North Charleston Performing Arts Center
May 17 – Shreveport, LA @ Shreveport Municipal Auditorium
May 18 – Biloxi, MS @ Beau Rivage Theatre’

Tickets go on sale to the general public Friday, January 20th (perfect for my birthday!)

Vip and pre-sale will go on sale on January 17th.

According to blabbermouth.net, Nita Strauss is out after eight years with Alice and is being replaced by guitarist Kane Roberts.
