These Michigan Clinics Are Helping Suspended Drivers Get Back On The Road
If your license is suspended, there’s a way to help you get back on the road. The state of Michigan is launching a program of statewide clinics for suspended drivers. They will provide the opportunity to meet with experts and learn how to get driving privileges back. The Road to Restoration is a free clinic that assists Michiganders in understanding how to get their driving privileges restored. Those with a suspended license can renew their driving record, pay fines and court fees, get an administrative hearing application, and take written driving tests if they are eligible.
In Nov. 2021, the Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson announced that her office lifted suspensions on over 150,000 Michigan residents’ driver’s licenses. There are requirements a suspended driver must complete to get their license back. Road to Restoration clinics are set in place to help. The program does not provide DUI expungement services and license reinstatement is not guaranteed.
Here are 14 Michigan clinics that are helping suspended drivers get back on the road.
