Motley Crue Announcement: They Are Taking Over Las Vegas
Motley Crue And Sin City seems like a perfect match-up announcement of their Las Vegas residency at Dolby Live at Park MGM 11 shows from March 28 through April 19. It follows 2012’s “Motley Crue Takes on Sin City” and 2013’s “Evening in Hell” residencies.
Motley Crue Gives Back
A portion of the proceeds from ticket sales of the Vegas residency will be donated to the Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth, “a Las Vegas-based organization that provides the thousands of young people experiencing homelessness in Southern Nevada with wraparound support to help youth move into stable housing, grow, and flourish.” It marks the latest endeavor as part of the band’s philanthropic Mötley Crüe Giveback Initiative.
What About Any New Motley Crue Music Coming?
The residency announcement comes a day before the release of Mötley Crüe’s new Cancelled EP — their first release with guitarist John 5. They also have a few US live gigs left in 2024, including a festival appearance at Aftershock and a handful of intimate L.A. club dates
What Is A Motley Crue Hollywood Takeover?
Mötley Crüe is performing a series of shows on the Sunset Strip in Hollywood, California, as part of their Höllywood Takeover in October 2024:
The Troubadour on October 7, The Roxy on October 9th, Whiskey a Go Go on October 11, Whiskey a Go Go on October 11
The shows are an intimate celebration of the band’s early days on the Sunset Strip, intended to evoke the feel of an ’80s concert. Expect a fun, hot, sweaty show.
Wait, There’s More Motley Fans
From my unreliable sources, Mötley Crüe could play at the Sphere in Las Vegas, as the venue hosts a variety of musical acts: The Eagles, U2 with future acts in consideration like Paul McCartney and Bon Jovi.
The Sphere is an event venue in Paradise, Nevada that hosts concerts, award shows, and other entertainment events.
