The actor wanted to congratulate the Philadelphia Eagles’ Super Bowl-winning quarterback, since they’re both from Austin, Texas.
The ad appeared in Sunday’s Austin American-Statesman and included McConaughey’s famous movie line “Just Keep Livin'”.
The actor is a big Washington Redskins fan, but also a big supporter of everything Texas.
