Drunk Man Takes $1600 Uber Ride
A New Jersey man did the responsible thing after a night of partying – instead of getting behind the wheel himself, he called Uber for a ride home. Unfortunately, his home was more than 300 miles away.
Kenny Bachman was partying in Morgantown, West Virginia when he called for the Uber to take him back to where he was staying nearby. He says he passed out in the vehicle and woke up two hours later only to discover he was on the way to his real home in Gloucester County, New Jersey.
Bachman challenged the $1635.93 fare but eventually agreed to pay it. He even gave the driver a five-star rating!
