Congress Will Vote On ‘Jimi Hendrix Post Office Building’
It’s good to see that the U.S. Congress is spending their time on the most important issues of today – like whether or not to name a Post Office building after Jimi Hendrix.
Rep. Adam Smith has introduced a bill to name a Seattle-area post office after the legendary guitarist. It would be called the “James Marshall ‘Jimi’ Hendrix Post Office Building”, located just a few blocks from the park where Hendrix is buried.
Smith says it would be a way to “celebrate the legacy of one of the greatest musicians of our time” and to honor Jimi’s “Seattle roots”.
