QTMC, Inc Charity Donation Request
QTMC, Inc. is an approved 501c3 Charity, and is an Agency for Forgotten Harvest Food Bank, Gleaners Food Bank, Whole Foods Market, Trinity Lutheran Church kitchen, Costco, KFC Chicken, Longhorn Steakhouse, and Outback Steakhouse.
QTMC, Inc. Chairman, Dave Coleman distributes about 30 pallets of USDA and Organic perishable foods each week. With the COVID19 pandemic Governor’s shutdown, restaurants with excess food have significantly increased food donations to QTMC Charity, which coincides with the community’s urgent need for food due to increased unemployment. This has caused a renewed commitment for QTMC, Inc. Charity to remain active in the community despite the Governor’s shutdown. All of the Volunteers have to don face masks and gloves, and tables utilized are sanitized more often. The needy families receiving food must also wear face masks and gloves, and must honor “social distancing”, so the charity provides the personal protective equipment to ensure compliance.
QTMC, Inc. Charity has been plagued with numerous repair bills on their two pickup truck/20-foot-trailer rigs due to the strenuous workload that they subject them to. Carrying (10) pallets per trailer every week, really pushes the tires and frame’s suspension beyond their capacity. The rigs have been in the repair shop numerous times for broken or worn out suspension parts, transmission repairs, motor mounts, and tires which all wear out frequently.
Since retiring after 40 years at General Motors Fleet Sales, QTMC, Inc. Charity’s spearhead Dave Coleman has re-dedicated his life to serving his neighbors, as commanded in the scriptures. Whereas he has strong beliefs which compel him to help the poor, homeless, and needy, nevertheless the financial burden has been overwhelming. QTMC, Inc. Charity receives some generous donations and tithes from the public, but expenses are largely underwritten by Dave Coleman, who is exhausting his General Motors pension to bridge the gap for uncovered expenses. If you have any question about how your donation is used please contact Dave Coleman @ qtmccenterstage@aol.com.
QTMC, Inc. Charity maintains an active registration in the U.S. Government’s System for Award Management (SAM) to stay ready for any government grant which may become available. Any donations to QTMC, Inc. Charity will receive a tax deductible receipt. They are therefore soliciting donations, grant information or financial contributions from the public. A donation of any amount will help QTMC Inc. continue working towards the goal of food distribution. Together we can restore some hope.
