Taiwanese Parliament Hosts the Most Disgusting Food Fight Ever
I’ll just say it. Some Taiwanese citizens hate American pigs…. wait for it!
A food fight broke out at a recent Taiwanese Parliament meeting. The “food” of choice: pig intestines. I kid you not. Some parliament members are super ticked by a proposal that would ease restrictions on pork imports from the United States. Naturally, they showed up for the meeting with a bunch of pig intestines and things got out of hand. Of course there’s a video! Check this out:
U.S. pork imports contain an animal feed additive called ractopamine. The additive is banned in a number of countries including China and the European Union. That’s the hotspot that got this fight rolling. More on this story here:
