Can You Eat Too Much At A Buffet?
A competitive eater claims he was almost kicked out of a Golden Corral for eating too much. Wait, I thought it was all you can eat?
Moh “Motion” Mbengue was in Orlando for a qualifier to get into the Nathans Coney Dog contest…so he decided to hit the “endless” buffet at Golden Corral.

Speaking of Buffets – here’s a really cool story about the history of buffets in America.
Who’s got the best buffet in Michigan? Here ya go!
Some people like buffets because they offer a variety of food. From appetizers to desserts, buffets usually have something for everyone. Mashed, a website dedicated to everything food-related, compiled a list of all the best all-you-can-eat buffets in every state.
As a Michigander, you’re probably thinking about Golden Corral, Ponderosa, or maybe even throwing it back to Old Country Buffet. Well, none of those buffet establishments topped the chart for Michigan’s best. Mashed stuck with local establishments, and excluded national chains with all-you-can-eat buffets.
The best buffet in Michigan is in Metro Detroit. The Fuji Japanese Buffet in Madison Heights has everything from sushi, oysters, mussels, and crab legs to crawfish, kimchi, and chicken feet.
They’re located in a strip mall at 32153 John R Rd, Madison Heights. Their operating days/ hours are Sunday through Thursday from 11 am to 9:30 pm and Friday through Saturday from 11 am to 10:30 pm.
Customers have also left some pleasant reviews on Yelp for the restaurant. One person mentioned the restaurant’s variety in their review. “So many choices on the buffet, and my first time seeing chicken feet! Soups, meats, raw oysters and more seafood,” said a review. “I am usually very skeptical of buffets but this place was great. It was extremely busy but we waited less than 10 min. for a table,” another review said.
