Charlie Brown Halloween Show Still Held Hostage By Apple TV +
Charlie Brown Halloween Show Still Held Hostage By Apple TV +. Shown to only folks that can afford or have access to Apple TV. It’s sad to find out again there is only one way to watch “It’s The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown”: Apple TV+ also all the Peanuts specials. The time-old classic used to be available to all on traditional TV channels. Now greedy corporate suits say you have to be an Apple TV+ subscriber to be able to see it.
Not Even PBS Public Broadcasting Stations can run it this year like in the past. PBS took to Twitter last time to say, “We’ll all have to watch for a different pumpkin patch this year. PBS does not have the right to show it anymore.”
“The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown”
“The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown” started its run back in 1965. It’s part of my childhood forever. Sure, I could throw on the DVD easily any time of the year. But who plays DVDs much anymore? My DVD player has dust on it. Another reason I loved the Halloween special was the music soundtrack by jazz great Vince Guaraldi. Vince cornered the market on Halloween and Christmas music that is so recognizable to the ears when you listen you know it’s the Peanuts music. So this year, we are going to feel like Charlie Brown, as we are getting a rock this Halloween.
Anyway To Watch The Great Pumpkin On TV?
If you don’t subscribe to Apple TV+ and don’t wish to join, there is still hope. Last year, Apple TV+ made It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown available to stream for free to non-subscribers for a few days at the end of the month. So far, Apple has not made any announcements about showing the special to non-subscribers. Feel bad for kids this year as families have had a really tough time making ends meet in this economy. The DVDs are still available online.
