Farmington factoids:
- Farmington was originally called Quakertown. It was named by the founder, Arthur Power who was a Quaker. Two years later, in 1826, Power changed the name to Farmington after his hometown, Farmington, New York.
- Town meetings were held in a variety of locations until the completion of the Town Hall (now the Masonic Hall) in 1876.
- Robert Patrick, famous Hollywood actor, graduated from Farmington High School!
