John Lennon: ‘Imagine’ 50th Anniversary Events Announced
John Lennon’s Imagine celebrates its 50th anniversary on September 9, and a bunch of global events are scheduled to celebrate the landmark album.
A global viewing party of the Imagine film is set for 2:30 PM EDT/11:30 AM PDT as well as a Twitter listening party taking place at the exact same time.

The Imagine film will be screening at select Hard Rock Cafe locations in North America and Europe and other venues throughout Europe. For those looking to watch the film at home, it’ll be available to stream in the United States via The Coda Collection on Amazon Prime and on the AXS TV NOW app for AXS subscribers.
For those that can’t make it to the various watch/listen parties at the designated start time, Lennon’s official website notes, “All the tweets from the Listening Party will be collated and made available to replay…after the event finish time, so you can watch ‘Imagine’ and replay the party at your leisure.”
