First Big Ben, and now, it appears Tom Brady may be stepping down from his role as king of the NFL.
According to CBS Sports’ Jason La Canfora, members of Brady’s “inner circle” think “that the all-time great is preparing to retire from the game.” The CBS Sports report said “a formal announcement expected shortly.”
“Brady is fully aware of the ripple effect his departure would have on the organization, and however he opts to formalize his plans – on social media or through a press conference or both – there is a growing anticipation that it’s coming this week,” La Canfora stated.
I’m a big Tom Brady fan, especially seeing how he’s handled himself the past few years, so I’ll be disappointed if this is true. I was thinking he’d stay for one more year. We’ll keep you posted!
