Who Wants To Go See Where Santa Lives?!
Alright, this one is either for Christmas lovers, or those who are really into cold places. I am going to pass hard on this newest cruise line.
What is believed the be the “Home” of Santa but really home to some massive Polar Bears will now be on the list of latest places to travel. Abercrombie & Kent have launched a new cruise line that will take you right to the top of the word! “The Ultimate Frontier” the company’s North Pole expedition cruise will set sail on July 10, 2024.
You may be asking why this cruise will take place in July. The cruise line said, during the summer months the sea ice should be a little easier to go through. Alright, I stop right there! As I plan for a cruise, I never want to hear that, “we may have a better shot with thinner ice”.
HOW IT WORKS:
Here is how it will work, passengers will land in Oslo, the capital of Norway, then take a flight across the sea to a town called Longyearbyen, the northernmost town in the world. That town is famous for having more polar bear then people, again another reason for me to stay off this trip! Which trip goers make it to Longyearbyen, they will board this ship called Le Commandant Charcot and set sail for the north pole. The trip takes 5 days as the ship will navigate though the ice filled waters of the Artic sea. It is noted that the ship will use its onboard technology to find ” A path of least resistance” when making it’s way to the North Pole. Again another phrase I do not want to hear while taking a cruise.
In all the trip should take about 18 days. But honestly, I will let you read the rest for yourself. As I have stated, there are way to many things that can go wrong in during this trip. When they get to the North Pole, the captain will try and position the ship right at 90 degree, which is said to be very hard.
Yeah, I am 100 percent out on this trip. It will take a lot to get me on any cruise ship, but this one I am totally out on! Not to mention it has not been a great month for ship and other water crafts.

Oh yeah, one more thing. The trip will cost you almost 48 thousand dollars!
Here is another example of why I do not want to go on a cruise.
