This Can’t Be Real – People Think Of The Roman Empire How Often?
This is the strangest new trend to hit social media in a minute: Women are exposing men . . . for being overly obsessed with the Roman Empire, a period of time that lasted from 27 B.C. to 476 A.D. (???)
It’s unclear how it started, but in one Tweet, a woman says, “I saw [a post] that said something [like] ‘Women have no idea how often the men in their lives think about the Roman Empire.’
“So I asked my husband: ‘How often do you think about the Roman Empire?’ And without missing a beat, he said ‘Every day.’ Why!?” That Tweet now has more than 7.8 million likes, and thousands of comments.
Now, women are filming themselves . . . asking the men in their lives how often they think about the Roman Empire . . . and almost ALL the guys say they think about it more than you’d think.
Obviously, this is a tongue-in-cheek meme . . . right?
But a lot of people are playing it straight . . . as if their partners ARE secretly obsessing over the Roman Empire, and THEY never had a clue about it.
