See Michigan’s First Snowman of the Year
Snowfall has officially started in Michigan, as several parts of the state received inches of snow on Tuesday (Nov. 2). Whether you love or hate the snow, there’s no denying that more is on the way, too.
According to the National Weather Service, the areas in Michigan with the most snow, as of Tuesday (Nov. 2) morning, are as follows: 7.7 inches in Watton (Baraga County), 6.9 inches in Three Lakes (Baraga County) and 6 inches in Pine Stump Junction (Luce County).
The National Weather Service also shared a photo on Facebook of the first snowman of the year in Gaylord:
Anne Erickson started her radio career shortly after graduating from Michigan State University and has worked on-air in Detroit, Flint, Toledo, Lansing and beyond. As someone who absolutely loves rock, metal and alt music, she instantly fell in love with radio and hasn’t looked back. When she’s not working, Anne makes her own music with her band, Upon Wings, and she also loves cheering on her favorite Detroit and Michigan sports teams, especially Lions and MSU football. Anne is also an award-winning journalist, and her byline has run in a variety of national publications. You can also hear her weekends on WRIF.
