Orion Township’s Canterbury Village has been converted into a drive-in movie theater! With 20 foot space per car (double the traditional space allotment to offer proper social distancing), Canterbury Village is using a giant LED screen instead of the traditional projection screen. This means that the picture should be viewable before dark. Movie showing start as early as 1:00pm. The sound plays through your radio just like a traditional drive in.
The original thought was to offer weekend movies, but when tickets sold out in an hour, they decided to add more showings. Tickets are $20 per car and they’re also offering food delivery service.
