ST PAUL, MN - SEPTEMBER 20: Gene Simmons preforms at The Children Matter Benefit Concert Featuring Gene Simmons, Ace Frehley, Don Felder And Cheap Trick on September 20, 2017 at CHS Field Stadium in St Paul, Minnesota.

The final, final, FINAL KISS shows will take place at Madison Square Garden on December 1st and 2nd of this year. Gene Simmons is following up his concert retirement with a three-day stint at Electric Lady Studios where you can record a song with Gene Simmons: the price tag is $6,000.  The Gene Simmons experience includes spending the day at Electric Lady Studios with Gene, recording a song, and pieces from Gene’s personal KISS collection.

Record A Song With Gene Simmons

To be fair, the $5,995 purchase price is for you AND a guest.  Gene will also take pictures and sign two personal items. And you don’t have to pay it all at once.  You can secure your spot with a downpayment of $2,500. Right?  I think I’ll snatch up two packages at this price.  I have no doubt that this will, in all honesty, sell out.  KISS fans are beyond devoted.

Gene is planning a similar event at Abby Road Studios in July of 2024.

Is Gene Serious About Retirement?

“The reason for stopping touring is because of pride and self-respect and a love and admiration for the fans,” said Simmons in an interview last year with Whiplash. “The last thing you wanna be is to be a world-champion boxer and stay in the ring too long. It’s only a matter of time until your legs are not gonna be able to hold you up, and you’re gonna lose.”   Mind you, this is after 50 years of performing and more than one “retirement tour,” but all signs point to this actually being the final two live shows for KISS.

Paul Stanley has been hinting for some time now that KISS may join a growing trend… sending your own official tribute band out on the road in your place. KISS “The Final Tour Ever” started back in 2019.  Do you think this is really the last show for KISS?
