Nancy Wilson said in a recent interview that she and Ann are working on new songs together.  Heart working on new music is great news after significant fallout some time ago between the sisters.  Their last album was in 2016, the same year that Ann's husband, Dean Welter, was arrested after assaulting Nancy's then-16-year-old twins backstage at a show in Seattle.  Dean pled guilty to lesser charges and avoided jail time, but an event that big had to have thrown a good deal of discord into the sisters' relationship.

Nancy Wilson: Heart Working on New Music

2023 marks the 50th Anniversary of Heart.  As of now, Ann and Nancy have separate tours, but in a recent interview, Nancy Wilson said that she and Ann are working on new music together. "There's a couple of things, you know, that I'm really excited about.  Something you wouldn't have heard us do in the '80s... closer to what you would have heard us originally do in the late '70s."  Nancy also said that working with Ann on new music has been "a really nice rediscovery of our relationship."

Nancy also said that former songwriting partner, Sue Ennis, is in the mix.  Sue wrote more than 80 of Heart's songs including "Straight On,"  "Dog & Butterfly," and "Even It Up."

This past February, Heart received a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in Los Angeles.  Nancy was the only one who attended.

Nancy is also working on a new album, Tomboy.  The album is made up of covers originally done by male artists.  Sounds like the ladies both have busy schedules... here's hoping that Heart working on new music will be something that we can all enjoy soon.

On stage or in the studio, these musicians have captured our attention in more ways than one.

Like Sting, aren't we all Tantric or at least Tantric-curious?

Even in a weird profile view like in the photo above, Debbie Harry is still one of the most stunning women ever.
