Today (Thursday) is Matt LeBlanc‘s birthday — and Matt was the star of Bob Seger’s “Night Moves” video. Here’s the story with Jeremy Clarkson from Top Gear (involving Bob Seger and a bottle of tequila)
All the years of talking with Bob and we’ve never brought it up in an interview…but we did talk with Bob about a lot of stuff for his birthday.
Bob Seger as Big Jim would say is the “Mayor of Michigan” and there is only one way to celebrate his birthday. That would be with our long standing tradition of Seger De Mayo! We were lucky enough to have Bob join us for a very cool conversation. He even gives his thoughts on the upcoming Lions season.
If you are from Michigan or lived here long enough, you know the impact that Bob Seger has had on so many of us. We want to celebrate that impact with something we call Seger De Mayo.
Bob’s birthday is May 6th, but we celebrate it on the Friday before, with nothing but Seger music all morning. This year was a little different though, Bob joined the show to talk about a variety of things.
Topics include, the 45th anniversary of the album “Stranger in Town” his time hanging with Glenn Frey and the Eagles with some stories that we have never heard before and so much more!
This was personally my favorite interview we have ever done with Bob as you can tell he is loving this chapter of his life.
