What Your NFL Team Would Be If It Were A Drink

Some drink enthusiasts at the website VinePair got together to figure out what your NFL team would be…if it were a drink. They came up with a drink for each of the 32 teams. Here’s a rundown of some of the highlights:
- Tennessee Titans – Jack and Coke
- Miami Dolphins – Miami Vice (part Piña Colada, part Strawberry Daiquiri)
- Arizona Cardinals – Tequila Sunrise
- Dallas Cowboys – Frozen Margarita
- Green Bay Packers – Wisconsin Old Fashioned
- Jacksonville Jaguars – Breakfast Martini
- Cleveland Browns – Bloody Mary
- Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Rum Runner
- Cincinnati Bengals – Cincinnati Cocktail (one-half pint of beer + one-half pint of soda water)

Detroit Lions: Hummer
This decadent concoction of white rum, Kahlúa, and vanilla ice cream almost sounds too indulgent for the Motor City’s no-frills persona, but its origins are as Detroit as it gets. Bartender Jerome Adams invented the drink in 1968 at the city’s Bayview Yacht Club. It’s not the first boozy milkshake ever created — spiked shakes appeared in the 1880s — but it’s still the stuff of local legend.
