Episode 18: Suck It Zach Johnson and Tiger Has a New Brand

Starting up "The Ball Washer Podcast" has been a great time so far. It's something I have wanted to do for a long time, and I am thankful there are so many golf fans out there helping to support it. The podcast has taken another step this week, it is now available on YouTube. So, for those of you who listen on podcast streams, you can watch the entire show on YouTube. This week was a great week to launch the YouTube page. First, you have Tiger announcing a new clothing brand, and Zach Johnson absolutely lost it at the Waste Management. Without delay, let's get into episode 18 of "The Ball Washer Podcast".

This was a big week in the world of golf. A lot of people are talking about the Waste Management Open, what if anything should be done about the amount of partying. Zach Johnson almost fought a member of the crowd, and Tiger announced a new clothing line after 27 years with Nike.

There was a lot to fit into this episode, and as you can tell I got a little fired up when talking about Zach Johnson. He has clearly went overboard with the fans at the same time the fans went overboard with the players.

I wrote a piece about this yesterday, but really wanted to use the podcast to dive deeper into it. Basically, on Monday morning, just ahead of the Genesis Invitational, a tournament Tiger sponsors and is playing in this year, he announced his new brand.  An “active premium lifestyle brand” called “Sun Day Red”. With this new brand Tiger has teamed up with Taylor Made to get it done.
