Michigan was the tenth state to legalize marijuana for adults in 2018 and the first state in the Midwest to do so. So these days, we’re used to legal pot. Now you could win a cannabis-themed wedding from a dispensary in Oakland County. Greenhouse of Walled Lake partnered with Choice Labs of Jackson to provide a $30,000 wedding. The wedding celebration will feature a venue, catering, a DJ, and, premium cannabis said the Greenhouse website. The lucky winners will have an open bar with a top-shelf bud bar managed by budtenders and stocked with top-shelf cannabis and Choice products.
Instead of a traditional wedding dessert, they will give the winning a custom-made, Mojo-infused chocolate wedding cake. The winning couple won’t be left alone when it comes to planning the celebration. They’ll get to work with event planner Haley Makay to help create their dream wedding.
Greenhouse owner Jerry Millen told Fox 2 Detroit, “We’re seeing a generation choose weed over booze, even when it comes to traditional celebrations like weddings. Move open ‘open bar,’ hello ‘bud bar.”

Guest at the wedding ceremony can be of any age according to the giveaway rules while all guests at the wedding reception must be 21 years of age or older.
