Detroit Red Wings Donuts Are Here! Just In Time For The Season

We are on the eve of the Detroit Red Wings kicking of the 2023-2024 NHL season and everyone, including Tim Hortons is getting in on the excitement.

Don’t worry, if you can’t make it to a Tim Hortons today, the donuts will be available throughout the month of October at most Tim Hortons across the state of Michigan. If you can’t wait and want to get your hands on them today, head over to the Tim Hortons on Ford Rd. in Dearborn. You can get a Wings donut and meet Red Wings legend Dmac, Darren McCarty.

This tradition is nothing new, for years the folks over at Tim Hortons have teamed up with the Red Wings to bring you one cool and tasty donut. I have to admit though, this year’s Red Wings donut may be my favorite, and there are here just in time for the season.

SEASON PREVIEW:

The Red Wings open up the season Thursday 10/12 on the road in New Jersey but come right back home for a Saturday game against Steve Yzerman’s old team the Tampa Bay Lighting. This season should be a promising one for the still young Red Wings. Some, like myself think they have a real shot at ending the playoff drought and returning to an NHL powerhouse in the near future.

Many “experts” have the Red Wings rebounding after a late run last year. Some even think this team could make some splashes in the playoffs, if the team stays healthy.

I also, think this is a massive break out year for the captain, Dylan Larkin has added a buddy and certified stud to his line in DeBrincat which should open him up to have a massive year.

Another cool thing happening this season for the Wings, they will travel to Stockholm on Nov. 16 and 17. This is all part of the global series, trying to gain popularity in other countries.

 

All in all, I have the Red Wings making the playoffs and possibly winning the first series, they still have a long way to go to return to the Red Wings of old, but I think we are seeing things head in the right direction.
