With the recent tragic events that took place in Oxford, everyone is doing their part to help including local Contractors like Adam...

First we wanted to say thank you to Nicole for making us aware of what Adam and other contractors are doing !

Adam Fodor wanted to help the victims of Oxford so he is doing it the only way he knows how, providing his companies heavy machinery and raising money for the Oxford community.

Here is the information and the even Adam has put together:

Organizers Adam Fodor and Andy O'Bryan are planning to line both sides of the park's main road with an assortment of trucks and heavy equipment.

"We've invited quite a few heavy equipment dealers, trucking companies, excavating contractors, demolition contractors, towing companies, etc. to be there," said Fodor, a Lake Orion resident who works for Bostwick Excavating in Clarkston. "We have people coming from all over."

Donations for the "Oxford Community Memorial and Victims Fund" will be collected on-site. Please make checks payable to that fund. There will be raffles and prizes as well. One hundred percent of the proceeds will go to the fund.

For more information, please contact either Adam Fodor at (248) 863-8476 or Andy O’Bryan at (517) 404-8367. Seymour Lake Township Park is located at 2795 Seymour Lake Rd.

Hey It’s Ryan, let me start off by saying…YES, I was born and raised in Wixom, Michigan although a lot of listeners like to joke that I am from Arizona. WCSX has always been my radio home, I have been at the station since I was a 23-year-old intern, co-host of Big Jim’s House, married with kids. Family and radio are what I love, but don’t get me started on golf! Like some, I have become obsessed with golf and you can hear all about that on “The Ball Washer Pod” right here on WCSX. One of my other passions is helping out the Vets. Since coming to WCSX I have been apart of raising hundreds of thousands for local vet groups. Other than that, I am a goofy guy, loving life, my family and talking to you on the radio. Ryan writes about golf, family and what happens on “Big Jim’s House.”
