This weeks first Grounds for Divorce, was all about vacation and if we bring the kids or not. Let's get into the latest argument Heidi and I have had!

BRINGING KIDS ON VACATION

So, let me lay down some background, Heidi and I never really got to take a honeymoon because we got married during covid. We were thinking about it and decided that come February, we will take a trip just us two and treat it like the honeymoon. It was almost all set until my wife mentioned that maybe we should bring the kids now. I do not want this, so I asked you guys to help me out and tell my wife bringing the kids is not ideal.

GROUNDS FOR DIVORCE:

LISTENER THOUGHTS:

Ryan I can't believe I am in agreement with you. They're not going to remember you totally abandoned them and ran away to another country to get away from them. Have fun on the vacation and next year they will be a big brother (again) and big sister.

Ryan hurry book everything for Two and say sorry babe all set I was trying to surprise you ! Now run make the calls and get er done!

Depends if it’s a family vacation or not. Is your intention to share experiences with the kids or to get away from the kids?

There will be lots of family vacations! Less for just you two! Heidi, you are not wrong, just go with the original plan!

FINAL THOUGHTS:

So, everyone seemed to be on my side when it came to this one, which is shocking. But, I think I am going to give my wife a few weeks to let the mom guilt go and then we will book the trip.

TAKE THE KIDS ON VACATION?
Hey It’s Ryan, let me start off by saying…YES, I was born and raised in Wixom, Michigan although a lot of listeners like to joke that I am from Arizona. WCSX has always been my radio home, I have been at the station since I was a 23-year-old intern, co-host of Big Jim’s House, married with kids. Family and radio are what I love, but don’t get me started on golf! Like some, I have become obsessed with golf and you can hear all about that on “The Ball Washer Pod” right here on WCSX. One of my other passions is helping out the Vets. Since coming to WCSX I have been apart of raising hundreds of thousands for local vet groups. Other than that, I am a goofy guy, loving life, my family and talking to you on the radio. Ryan writes about golf, family and what happens on “Big Jim’s House.”
