Crazy Star Wars Facts You Might Not Know

Yes, there was an actor who declined roles in Star Wars.  Some examples:

  • Al Pacino was offered the role of Han Solo in the original Star Wars film (1977), but he turned it down. The role eventually went to Harrison Ford
  • Jodie Foster was offered the role of Leia but had to turn it down due to other obligations.
  • In an interview with Jimmy Fallon, Sylvester Stallone revealed that he auditioned for Han Solo. He said his audition was bad and that he wasn't suitable for the role.
  •  Kurt Russell was considered for both Luke Skywalker and Han Solo in the original trilogy but turned it down to do a TV western show.

Dad Jokes Meet Snapchat Filters

a smiling face. that is also a piece of bread with a face and giant mustache. Snapchat filter with bread dad jokesDonielle Flynn

Meet Bready Mercury. I may have lost it. My new favorite thing: telling dad jokes while using a matching Snapchat filter.

I started out doing one a day, but I quickly worried that it was too much. I was concerned that if my reels were hitting my friends feed every day, it would get old fast. It's hard to resist not immediately making a ton of these because Snapchat has a million filters and there are a billion jokes. Scroll down to check out my videos and check back for updates... if you dare.  My videos are Schleppie approved (JK: Schleppie would probably rip them and have better jokes to back it up).

Doni's Filtered Dad Jokes

Bready Mercury

Cow Jokes

My latest favorite. The UFO filter lets you suck cows up in your mouth. Here's my bonus joke: Why was the cow so afraid of messing up? Because the steaks were high.

Goat Jokes

I feel like this filter scared people a little bit. Or rather, found it off-putting. I think it's because of the wonky eyeball effect. To be clear, I am not capable of having my eyes simultaneously go in opposite directions. That's a goat thing. Bonus joke: What is a goat’s beard called? A goatee!

Chicken Jokes

The backup chickens had me "cracking" up. These chicken jokes will definitely give you something to bawk about. Bonus (bonus) joke: How do chickens leave buildings? Through the eggs-its.

Toilet Paper

I wish I'd have had this filter back in 2020. I have never looked at toilet paper the same since the Covid shortages. Bonus joke: Why didn't the toilet paper finish the race? Because it was wiped out.

Broccoli Jokes

The OG! This isn't the same video I sent Jim, but it's close.  I added the "Chopping broccoli" bit as a nod to the classic Dana Carvey SNL Skit. Bonus joke: Why did the broccoli blush? Because it saw the salad dressing!
