Photo: That’s Not Where Gas Goes
Mistakenly putting the fuel pump into a fishing pole holder of your boat is not the smartest idea in the world…
A Florida man pumped $60 worth of gas onto the deck of his boat and on the ground of a gas station according to police.
It all happened on Monday near Orlando.
When the man was trying to clean up the mess, the gasoline started to leak from the boat and onto the ground at a 7-Eleven.
A team siphoned the gas from the boat and cleaned up. The incident was described as a “level 3 hazmat,” meaning the potential of hazard was high.
After the 32-year-old boat owner from Orlando realized he just pumped $60 of fuel into the wrong place, he pumped $40 more into the right place. Squads 1 & 3 siphoned most of the fuel out. There were no evacuations or injures, and crews cleared the @7eleven just after 2:30 p.m. pic.twitter.com/AdiiLnvNex
