Hey It’s Ryan- I Finished The Toy Box!
For a few weeks now, I have talked about building my son his first toy box. I am happy to say I finished it and within my wife’s timeline!
I have never really done wood working before, I have built a few shelves in the garage and in the laundry room but taking on a larger project like a toy box was something I was a bit nervous about.
Thankfully I actually took my time and knocked it out!

I honestly was a bit nervous to post the photos to social media. You know how it is, people are not always the happiest or most supportive and I really didn’t want to deal with it because I worked very hard on this project. Boy was I wrong, people left the best comments on the post and honestly I feel so proud of myself for getting it done and in a timely manner.
Now I won’t lie, there were a few hiccups throughout the process. One major one was I broke one side of the toy box by trying to stuff a side panel in. I was getting frustrated and took it out on the wall. Thankfully, I was able to fix it and everything came together!

What I love about him is he allows you to put your own spin on projects and doesn’t hold you to one design.
Overall, I am very proud of what I built and cannot wait to try my hand at another project.
