Indiana Building Gravy Themed Roller Coaster – No Really
Indiana has just kicked the stuffing (and mashed potatoes) out of the rest of the country with this one…a gravy themed roller coaster?
Oh it’s road trip time baby! And I know…It’s August…why are we talking about Thanksgiving. But leave it to the state of Indiana to force our hand.
A theme park in Santa Claus, Indiana is developing a Thanksgiving ROLLER COASTER called “Good Gravy!” . . . where you have to race against time to help Grandma make her famous gravy and save Thanksgiving dinner . . . in a train shaped like a giant gravy boat. (???)
If you didn’t know, the town of Santa Claus is home to a theme park called “Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari.” It’s been around since 1946, and it has areas that celebrate Christmas, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and the Fourth of July.
They just announced that they’re adding the Good Gravy thrill ride to the Thanksgiving section next year, in a corner called “Stuffing Springs.”
Good Gravy was designed as a FAMILY “boomerang” coaster, where a three-year-old could potentially ride with their grandparents, so it won’t be TOO extreme.
But if you’re looking for a more “non food” related thrill ride – check out what’s coming to #CedarPoint in 2024!
It’s back and better than ever! Cedar Point announced what they are calling Top Thrill 2, and it’s even more crazy than the original.
The new Top Thrill 2 will be the worlds largest and fastest triple launch strata roller-coaster shooting into the air 420 feet. That is 20 feet taller than the coaster that they ordinally built in 2003.
“Top Thrill 2 will be the boldest and most advanced roller coaster Cedar Point has ever introduced. It’s another one-of-a-kind that could only be built at Cedar Point,” said Carrie Boldman, vice president and general manager of Cedar Point, in a statement. “Our stamp on the industry is in roller coaster innovation, and today, that’s solidified as we redefine the strata coaster into a mega-thrill that our guests will come from far and wide to experience.”
Everything about this coaster in state of the art and new the the coaster game, from the “lighting” trains and launch system it is all game changing!
