Oh baby, you know it's a great week when I write 3 stories about this person. Go ahead start making the jokes!

Time Magazine has just announced their Person of the Year for 2023. To my delight and millions of others, Taylor Swift is your 2023 Time Person of the Year.

This title adds to the unbelievable year the pop singer has had, a massive tour making billons of dollars, a concert movie that is now being considered for a possible Oscar. Taylor also looks to be in love with Travis Kelce from the Chiefs and now this.

In her interview with Time, Taylor spoke on a bunch of different topics, one I found wild was the exercise routine she used to get ready for the Eras tour. Taylor said everyday she would go for a long run, while running she would sing the entire setlist out loud, running slow for slow songs and faster during fast songs. She said she wanted to be so over prepared because then she could interact with the crowd more. Taylor also said she cut out drinking while out on the road. She said she was living like a frat boy before and knew she needed to cut it out.

In between shows, Taylor says she only gets out of bed to get some food. Other than that she lays and rests for a full day.

MORE FROM THE INTERVIEW:

Taylor was also asked about her feud with Kayne West and the famous phone call that was recorded between them. She stated that is was all illegally recorded and released. After that Taylor said she began to not trust everyone and really shut down. She survived that situation and is, I think on the better side of things than West.

Taylor had a few more notable quotes from the interview. One being on her impact on the NFL and they angry fans.  "I'm just there to support.  I have no awareness of if I'm being shown too much and pissing off a few dads, Brads and Chads."

It looks to me like Taylor Swift is totally winning right now. And for those of you who like to make fun of me for digging her, I get it. But her songs are just so damn catchy!!

Hey It’s Ryan, let me start off by saying…YES, I was born and raised in Wixom, Michigan although a lot of listeners like to joke that I am from Arizona. WCSX has always been my radio home, I have been at the station since I was a 23-year-old intern, co-host of Big Jim’s House, married with kids. Family and radio are what I love, but don’t get me started on golf! Like some, I have become obsessed with golf and you can hear all about that on “The Ball Washer Pod” right here on WCSX. One of my other passions is helping out the Vets. Since coming to WCSX I have been apart of raising hundreds of thousands for local vet groups. Other than that, I am a goofy guy, loving life, my family and talking to you on the radio. Ryan writes about golf, family and what happens on “Big Jim’s House.”
