Mom Blasted For 5 Year Old’s Hooters Birthday
The world gets upset at some very strange things. A boy is being throwing through the internet ringer for taking her 5 year old son to Hooters for his Birthday.
This poor mom is getting blasted on social media after posting a now viral video of her 5-year-old son celebrating his birthday at Hooters.
I have so many thoughts and questions for the people bashing the mom. First of, why do you care about this? Hooters in not a strip club or a club or anything like that. Second, what would be the difference between taking him there and a place like Bdubs which I have seen for kids birthdays? Both have beer, loud adults and ok food. The difference is the size of shirts the waitresses wear, which I am sure the little boy loved.
Here is the full story and video of the Hooters girls singing to the boy.

Honestly though, the comments on social media made me want to give this mom a huge hug!
ONLINE COMMENTS:
“Who TF is taking their child to Hooters [especially] on his birthday,” questioned an outraged onlooker.
“Bro, he’s five. What’s he doing in Hooters? Great mom and dad,”
“So you took him to a t – – ty restaurant? So much for protect the children,”
Many people were outraged as you see in the comments above, but I think it was awesome! (get ready to judge me)
When I was little I think after every hockey or baseball tournament we won we celebrated by going to Hooters. They are some of my favorite memories from growing up and never once did I think they would “mess” me up later in life.
Here is the thing, adults are the ones who put the weird and strange thoughts about this being bad in kids heads. I am sure this kid had the time of his life and loved the attention he was getting.
Honestly it was probably a nice break from the gross old men who hang out in there for hours hoping to see down a girls top.
I support this mom and I am sure at some point I will take my son Finnian to a Hooters or Twin Peaks.
Thankfully I share this thought with some others online:
“This is so adorable. A memory he will never forget,”
“Little buddie is living the dream,”
