Classic Rock Halftime
Last Saturday’s halftime routine by the University of Oklahoma’s marching band was a salute to classic rock. And it was AWESOME!!!
They performed:
- The Beatles – “Magical Mystery Tour”
- Chicago – “25 or 6 to 4”
- Kansas – “Point of Know Return” and “Carry on Wayward Son”
- Van Halen – “Panama”
- Europe – “Final Countdown”
- Foreigner – “Hot Blooded”
- Queen – “Bohemian Rhapsody”
And not only did they play the songs, they re-created the logo for each band while doing so.
Jim O'Brien is the Host of "Big Jim's House" Morning Show at 94.7 WCSX in Detroit.
