Why are we creating five food choices for Bob Seger songs? Here’s how Big Jim’s mind works:

So our friends at Vinsetta Garage do a burger every February in honor comedian Mitch Hedberg’s birthday (it’s called the Hed-burger and of course it’s a club sandwich…one of his best bits.)

Well we starting thinking about some of our favorite rockers and possible food choices for their songs…here’s five for Seger:

1 “Night Moves” Club: A classic club sandwich made with turkey, bacon, lettuce, tomato, and mayonnaise, representing the timelessness of Seger’s classic hit.

2 “Against the Wind” Reuben: A Reuben sandwich made with corned beef, Swiss cheese, sauerkraut, and thousand island dressing, reflecting the determination and resilience depicted in the song “Against the Wind”.
3 “Turn the Page” Philly Cheesesteak: A Philly cheesesteak sandwich with thinly sliced steak, melted cheese, and grilled onions, symbolizing the journey and experiences described in the song “Turn the Page”.
4 “Old Time Rock and Roll” Burger: A classic cheeseburger with all the fixings, representing the enduring appeal of classic rock and roll music, as seen in the song “Old Time Rock and Roll”.
5 “Still the Same” BLT: A simple and classic BLT sandwich with crispy bacon, lettuce, and tomato, symbolizing Seger’s timeless and unchanging style, as reflected in the song “Still the Same”.
