Things got heated over the weekend between Ross Chastian and Noah Gragson. So heated that it ended with a nasty right hook.

I will get right to the video because the camera was in perfect position to get one of the best right hooks we have seen outside of the UFC in a long time.

As you can see Noah comes over to confront Ross and Ross is quick to respond after Noah puts his hands on him. I love this moment, it shows to the true passion and heat of the moment stuff sports it all about. Some may not like it and think it should have no place in sports, especially racing but from what I’ve learned from Big Jim. This use to happen all the time, the difference is cameras are now everywhere.

Here is the full background on what went down with post fight interviews:

Ross Chastain punches Noah Gragson as NASCAR drivers have heated post-race exchange

Noah Gragson finally had enough of Ross Chastain and decided to do something about it. Chastain, who has drawn the ire of many NASCAR drivers this season with his aggressiveness on the track, found himself in a heated confrontation with Gragson at the Kansas Cup, which was held at Kansas Speedway in Kansas City, Kan., on Sunday.
