Pure Michigan: The Detroit Lions

It has been a minute since we’ve had another great Pure Michigan Parody, but thankfully John Kerfoot has come back with one of the best “Not So Pure Michigan” videos…

It has been a minute since we've had another great Pure Michigan Parody, but thankfully John Kerfoot has come back with one of the best "Not So Pure Michigan" videos of all.

If you live in Michigan, or honestly anywhere in the country than you understand the hype around this Detroit Lions team. That hype only grew after the week won win in Kansas City. Going into week two of the NFL season, besides Aaron Rodgers, the Lions are all anyone is talking about.

For example, Fox broadcasting has changed their schedule, this Sunday Fox's number one broadcast team will be in Detroit to cover the game. Erin Andrews will be on the sideline for possibly the first time ever in Detroit.

This is a massive deal for everyone who has been a Lions fan for life, things are changing in the Motorcity and everyone is starting to pickup on it. Including our buddy John Kerfoot who is the mastermind behind the Pure Michigan Parodies.

Here is his latest one, all about the Detroit Lions.

This video is great on many levels, but honestly why can't this be the year for the Lions. I know, I know, we have to wait and see and no one will believe it until we see it. But for the time being, let's put away that SOL talk and just enjoy the moment. This team has already given more excitement than any other Lions team since I can remember.

The Lions take on Seattle on Sunday at Ford Field and believe you me, that place may lose a roof by the end of the day!

PARTY TIME

Don't forget, if you are headed down to the game Sunday, make sure you stop by and see Myself and Big Jim as we will getting the party going at the Elwood.

Hey It’s Ryan, let me start off by saying…YES, I was born and raised in Wixom, Michigan although a lot of listeners like to joke that I am from Arizona. WCSX has always been my radio home, I have been at the station since I was a 23-year-old intern, co-host of Big Jim’s House, married with kids. Family and radio are what I love, but don’t get me started on golf! Like some, I have become obsessed with golf and you can hear all about that on “The Ball Washer Pod” right here on WCSX. One of my other passions is helping out the Vets. Since coming to WCSX I have been apart of raising hundreds of thousands for local vet groups. Other than that, I am a goofy guy, loving life, my family and talking to you on the radio. Ryan writes about golf, family and what happens on “Big Jim’s House.”
