Pizza Hut is now offering snake meat as a topping. But sorry, you can't get it here. It's on the menu in Hong Kong for a limited time. I will be 100 percent honest with you, this is one food item I am happy won't be available in the United States. No need for snakes, let alone on your pizza.
Pizza Huts in Hong Kong are now selling snake meat pizza. It's their take on a traditional snake stew that's popular in China during fall and winter. Each nine-inch pizza comes with cheese, mushrooms, dried ham, and a generous serving of snake meat that's cut up into strips.
Instead of tomato sauce, it has abalone sauce. So yeah . . . it's a little different. Someone who tried it said the snake meat kind of tastes like chicken, but drier.
If you want to try it, you'll need to book a flight to Hong Kong pronto. It's only on the menu through November 22nd.
Would you try this, and does it depend on what kind of snake it is? No way I am eating any snake, but especially if it's one that use to be poisonous. Think about it, that's all we need is to try a new crazy pizza and die because the venom was not cooked out of the snake enough. It also doesn't help that I absolutely hate snakes. There is no worse animal in the world to me that a dumb snake. And if you have snakes in your home, don't even bother inviting me over for dinner or to hang. I will leave as soon as I walk in and noticed the snakes. Can you tell I don't like snakes?
