What An Amazing Proposal
This TikTok proposal will hit you right in the feels. Plus we’ve got a great World War Two vets story to share. Here’s your Tuesday edition of “Good News in Big Jim’s House”:
1. A South Carolina man’s TikTok proposal is going viral because of how he incorporated his girlfriend’s four kids into it. His name is Josh Renaud. He gave them each a t-shirt, so when they lined up it read, “Can We Call Josh DAD?”
They’d apparently been asking their mom when he’d be their dad, so it was kind of an inside joke. She walked in, started crying, and said YES. He also bought each kid their own ring to wear, and got down on his knee for them too. (Part 1 is the setup, and Part 2 is the proposal.) **warning: this TikTok proposal will hit you right in the feels…hard**

2. Two World War Two vets from North Carolina named Millard Denson and Joe Stroud just met up after searching for each other for 76 years.
They met in the Navy when they were 17 and were best friends. They’re both 96 now. A family friend helped Millard track Joe down this summer. They’ve been talking on the phone for the past three months, but met up in person last Friday.
3. Target sent a bunch of stuff to a woman in Minnesota by mistake last week. More than 140 packages, and they were all filled with reading glasses. It turned out they had an issue with a vendor that used the wrong address.
Target reached out to her and gave her a $250 gift card for the hassle. But this next part brought her to tears: They told her they’re donating all the glasses to charity. It’s what she was planning to do if they didn’t want them returned.
