Before we get to the interview, don't forget! Dee will be at Autorama this weekend, you will be able to meet Dee on Saturday between 1 and 4. He will have his new novel with him to be signed, plus a ton of opportunities to get photos and chat. Also, Dee will be a massive part of the Parti Gras 2.0 with Bret Michaels this summer. One of the things early in the interview that stood out to me was his relationship with Detroit and Autorama. Dee has been a staple at Autorama for years. At first, I honestly thought he did it just to make a few bucks, but it seems to be more about making the trip to the Motorcity more than anything.
At one point, Dee talks about his relationship with Detroit and how much he loves this city and it's history. When it comes to cars, Dee knows his stuff, that's why it makes total sense to see him at Autorama every year. And, after listening to the interview, we need to make sure he gets to sit in the different generations of the batmobile that will be there.
