Okay, I've been thinking about this and how I'd react - and to be honest I'd probably do the same thing. You don't want to make a scene and startle the person (you have no idea what mental state they're in, right?).

Now would I could just go all Bruce Willis and threaten to shoot the closet like in "The Last Boy Scout" - remember this scene?

But I think I'm going to politely say NOPE and leave the apartment.

This started a conversation in the studio (and at home) - would you rent an apartment in the building after this experience? I'm kind of leaning towards the "World According to Garp" mindset and thinking what else could go wrong? Most people I asked about this simply said "hell no". That's it. We're done with the tour. Nope. Okay bye bye.
