Having a rough week at work? We get it. Here's the song to help you relax at work, or at least hum it and hopefully people will figure out that you're not dealing with them today (warning! it has the word "ass" in it)

Where did you find the song to help you relax at work?

My good friend Robert sent this to me when he was dealing with stress at work - told me he'd hum it during meetings or just in the hallway when his boss just kept talking. Soon there was a group of people in the office who'd hum it as well, and now this anthem of de-stressing without kicking the crap out of someone at work was born.

The Lyrics - Perfect to hum during a Zoom call

I'm about to whip somebody's ass

Ohhhh, I'm about to whip somebody's ass

Ohhhh, if you don't leave me alone you gonna have to send me home

'cause I'm about the whip somebody's ass

Short and simple? Yes. Perfect for any situation to calm you down? Absolutely.

The song to help you relax at work - what movie would it have worked in?

I can guarantee if this song was out when they created the movie Office Space, you know the office workers would've hummed this song when they dealt with Lumbergh...right?

Are there other situations where the song to help you relax at work could be used?

group of workers definitely stressed out at work

Hey Jim, where else can I use the song to help you relax at work? Funny you should ask ...here's just a couple places to hum it:

  1. When you're sitting next to a Green Bay Packers fan on a three hour flight and all they want to do is tell you that Lions were a fluke and Jordan Love is the second coming of Brett Favre.
  2. What about family dinners with a special uncle who is determined to talk politics and why you've put on weight.
  3. When the person in front of you at the store decides to have a deep conversation with the cashier about their knee bothering them...so it must be rain.

You're welcome :)
