LEAVE IT IN THE PAST. OR GO FOR IT?

I am back with another question for everyone, is a hotdog and nacho bar a good idea for my sons 1st birthday party? Or is it tacky or trashy?

We have talked a lot about my son's first birthday recently, it's getting closer and I had another question this morning.

I AM IN CHARGE OF THE FOOD FOR FINN’S BIRTHDAY PARTY…I WANT TO DO A BASEBALL THEMED HOTDOG AND NACHO BAR? HEIDI IS CONCERNED THAT IS TACKY.

Now after asking this question on air, I think it's the first time in the the history of Grounds for Divorce that everyone has agreed with me and said a hotdog and nacho bar is a great idea!

Here is the video of the Grounds for Divorce segment.

Like I said, the listeners would actually behind me on this one, here are some of their comments from the text lines and Facebook Live:

"If Ryan is going to do it then he needs to dress up as a hot dog vendor and yell, "hotdogs here!" when passing them out. Go all out...Heidi will love it I bet"

Wayne: "Yeah that's awesome Ryan! And then you can get Heidi to clean the mustard stains and the nachos out of the couch"

Patty Grace Hicks: "Sounds like fun. Go for it most kids love hot dogs"

Chet" Ryan your track record brings cause for concern...HOWEVER you are right on this one. She gave you control she needs to slow her roll and let you do it. Then when you screw it up she can always pull the I told you so card."

Overall and after talking with a lot of you, I now that this is a great idea! I am for sure going to make the coolest hotdog bar I can! I already have so many ideas of toppings. You got to have the standard stuff, but I will also use some bacon bits, chili, onions, peppers.

Here is the big question, what needs to be on this hotdog bar? What is something out of the ordinary that I could include? Send me messages below tag my Twitter, @LocalCelebLogan

As always, thank you for the feed back don't forget to check out some of the past segments.

This list may help me out:

Hey It’s Ryan, let me start off by saying…YES, I was born and raised in Wixom, Michigan although a lot of listeners like to joke that I am from Arizona. WCSX has always been my radio home, I have been at the station since I was a 23-year-old intern, co-host of Big Jim’s House, married with kids. Family and radio are what I love, but don’t get me started on golf! Like some, I have become obsessed with golf and you can hear all about that on “The Ball Washer Pod” right here on WCSX. One of my other passions is helping out the Vets. Since coming to WCSX I have been apart of raising hundreds of thousands for local vet groups. Other than that, I am a goofy guy, loving life, my family and talking to you on the radio. Ryan writes about golf, family and what happens on “Big Jim’s House.”
