Alright, This was a Grounds for Divorce I was really nervous to do. At the end of the day, I am glad I did it because it didn't go the way I thought it would.

So, Mother's Day was this past weekend and I was a little afraid I screwed it up. Either the wrong gift, not enough or the fact that I was so hungover that I took two naps.

Anyways, here is the question I asked On-Air.

"SO I WANT TO KNOW..DID I DO GOOD FOR MOTHER’S DAY…I GOT HEIDI AN EXPENSIVE PERFUME SHE WANTED AND SOME OTHER PRODUCTS TO GO WITH IT.. I DIDN’T WRAP IT OR HAVE A CARD..I FEEL LIKE SHE WASN’T IMPRESSED BY WHAT I DID"

I thought this was going to go against me when I first asked the question. I was nervous to even ask it but surprisingly to me, most people were on my side.

Here is our conversation from Facebook Live.

LISTENER COMMENTS:

ANNE: Ryan Ryan Ryan! The card is the personal touch.

SANNA: I agree with Ryan. It’s the thought that counts not the wrapping and card. And it sounds like the women are agreeing with Ryan so maybe more men need to listen to us women about Mother’s Day.

SUSAN: Stuff doesn't matter it all ends up in a landfill. The little things are more important like making her coffee, doing dishes and filling her gas tank.

CHET: Ryan doesn't think about other people just himself when it comes to golf. He does this and wonders why Heidi is against him spending BIG bucks on new clubs....Schleppie

There are just a couple of the comments from the text lines and Facebook live. I honestly thought I would get crushed for it but it was kind of the opposite.

FINAL THOUGHTS

When it comes down to it, I will do better next year, I also left out that I did cook her a favorite for breakfast.

Here incase you are late to the party:

Hey It’s Ryan, let me start off by saying…YES, I was born and raised in Wixom, Michigan although a lot of listeners like to joke that I am from Arizona. WCSX has always been my radio home, I have been at the station since I was a 23-year-old intern, co-host of Big Jim’s House, married with kids. Family and radio are what I love, but don’t get me started on golf! Like some, I have become obsessed with golf and you can hear all about that on “The Ball Washer Pod” right here on WCSX. One of my other passions is helping out the Vets. Since coming to WCSX I have been apart of raising hundreds of thousands for local vet groups. Other than that, I am a goofy guy, loving life, my family and talking to you on the radio. Ryan writes about golf, family and what happens on “Big Jim’s House.”
